SHARKS ANNOUNCE NEW HEAD COACH
The head coach for the new season has been announced
by the Solway Sharks. Martin Grubb will take up his
post as the Ice Hockey Development Officer on 2nd
June. An experienced coach, Martin was assistant
coach with the Fife Flyers for the past two years as
well as coaching the Scotland U19 team for the past
five years and this year the U17 team.
Martin already has
experience of coaching at Dumfries as he spent three
seasons as player/coach for the Sharks from 1997 to
2000 and during that time the Sharks enjoyed their
most successful season, in terms of silverware, to
date. It is fitting that Martin should return to the
Solway Sharks in its tenth season and both the
management and players are looking forward to
working with him to achieve a fantastic tenth
anniversary season. |
