I am delighted that our Captain has decided to return and lead
the team in our exciting new phase. Mark is the hardest working
player in the league and is a leader and has grown over the
years as a player. I was important for me to get Mark back on
board as he is a vital part of my plans and his experience will
allow others to settle into the team. I expect him to be key to
us as the season progresses and am delighted to announce he will
continue as our Captain. |

Winning the league and playoff double in 2010.

Breaking my wrist aged 16.

Scott Plews.
What is your most embarrassing moment in hockey?
-Trying
to fight against Whitley bay two seasons ago – Not a good look
for me.
Do you have any superstition or pre game routines? -
Always eat at the same time before games depending on the
face-off time.
What advice would you give to any young players? -
Practice
as much as possible and always listening to coaches.
Who would you most like to meet and why? -
Derren Brown: So he can show me how to
predict the lottery numbers.

Nope.
Who has helped you most in hockey? -
My family by supporting me all the way.
Outside hockey what are your hobbies? -
Gym and football when possible!
