The Solway
Sharks were beaten five-nil at Fife Ice Arena on
Saturday evening in the Northern League Play Off Semi-Finals by a
Fife Flyers side who were playing their fifth game in eight days.
Fleming opened the scoring for the
Flyers on the eight minute mark and the Sharks could make little
headway for the remainder of the period while the Flyers failed to
trouble the scorer further despite their dominance.
However, it took Steven King just
twenty-four seconds of the second session to double Fife's advantage
which allowed his side to coast through the remainder of the match
as they conserved energy for Sunday's final. In the third period the
Flyers added three more strikes through Glasgow, Gunn and Steven
King as they ran out easy winners.

this report are individual and do not necessarily reflect
the opinions of the Solway Sharks.
